The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia (in case citations, D.C. Cir.) is one of thirteen United States Courts of Appeals. It exercises appellate jurisdiction over decisions from the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The court is comprised of eleven appellate judges and is based at the E. Barrett Prettyman U.S. Courthouse in Washington, D.C..
