I placed mine on a rainbow striped cake but it would also be adorable on a sea or mermaid themed cake. Isomalt is sugar substitute but unlike sugar does not burn or crystallize and can be ordered from Amazon or found at your local cake decorating store. Isomalt Sail Ingredients isomalt small saucepan heatproof rubber spatula gel food colouring non-stick heatproof silicone mat Close pins or metal clips tall glass full water bottle scissors Instructions Prepare a mold for your Isomalt sail: On a wooden cutting board or silicone mat place a full water bottle and a glass upside down over the top. Prepare a second silicone mat by placing it flat on the counter next to the water bottle.
