Elon Musk to demonstrate its 'armor glass'. But it looks like
Tesla is very much serious about offering high level of protection with the Cybertruck, with Musk claiming that it is "bulletproof to almost all subsonic projectiles".
American commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan recently hosted Elon Musk on his podcast show. What's more, the 56-year old former television host decided to test out the 'bulletproof' capabilities of the Cybertruck, and fired an arrow at the vehicle, which went and hit the door. The arrow could not pierce the outer body of the EV pickup truck, only managing to leave a dent.
"Turns out a Tesla cyber truck is arrow proof too. Podcast with the big guy [Musk] drops today," posted Rogan on his social media handles with a picture of him firing the arrow at the vehicle. Elon had recently also confirmed that a Cybertruck was fired at by a Tommy gun into the driver side door to check its bullletproofness.

"We emptied the entire drum magazine of a Tommy gun into the driver door Al Capone style. No bullets penetrated into the passenger compartment," said Elon Musk. The EV maker claims that the electric pickup truck is made for 'ultimate durability' and 'passenger protection', which is probably the reason for its ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless-steel structural skin as well as armor glass. The stainless-steel skin is said to help eliminate dents, damage as well as long-term corrosion.
