'Alpha' girls Alia Bhatt and Sharvari promise a thrilling spy drama - watch video

Alia Bhatt is all set to make her highly anticipated entry into the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe with an action-packed thriller, co-starring Sharvari Wagh. For those unaware, the duo will play super-agents in the Spy Universe and it looks like Aditya Chopra is presenting them as the Alpha girls of the pack!

On Friday, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle to reveal the title of the film 'ALPHA'- a front-footed declaration of sorts that these girls will cause mayhem on the big screen.

In the title reveal video, Alia Bhatt can be heard saying, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar. Aur humare program ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabs veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega.. ALPHA!” Sharing the video, Alia wrote, "It’s the time of the ALPHA.. Girls!

Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail of the blockbuster series 'The Railway Men' fame.

The film will also feature Bobby Deol as the antagonist, and Anil Kapoor is also reported to be a part of the cast. After completing the Mumbai schedule, the team will head to Kashmir for important action sequences and then move on to an international location in December.

Alia-Sharvari’s 'ALPHA' is the next big offering from Aditya Chopra, who is also currently making 'War 2' with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr in the lead. The next films from this fabled blockbuster universe would be 'Pathaan 2', followed by 'Tiger vs Pathaan'.
