Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya celebrate their first wedding anniversary with romantic getaway from Dubai to Amsterdam

Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol, and his wife Drisha Acharya have been celebrating their first wedding anniversary with a romantic trip to Dubai and Amsterdam. Karan surprised Drisha with plans for a special celebration in Amsterdam and Barcelona.

Their wedding on June 18 last year was a grand affair, attended by many notable figures from the Indian film industry. Highlights of the event included Karan's grandfather Dharmendra and his father Sunny Deol dancing to upbeat Punjabi songs. Family members like Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol, along with industry stalwarts such as Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Prem Chopra, Raj Babbar, Shatrughan Sinha, and Anupam Kher, were present to bless the couple.

On the work front, Karan has been busy filming his upcoming movie, 1947 Lahore, produced by Aamir Khan Productions and directed by the acclaimed Rajkumar Santoshi. This film marks a significant milestone in Karan’s career as it features him sharing the screen with his father, Sunny Deol, for the first time. The stellar cast also includes Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh.

Karan underwent rigorous training to transform himself for his role in 1947 Lahore. Shooting for the film commenced in February and recently concluded, allowing Karan to take a well-deserved break. He chose to spend this time with his beloved wife, Drisha, in Dubai before their anniversary and then jetted off to Europe for their elaborate anniversary celebration.
