Jigar Movie Review : Jigar Movie Review: A Lackluster Story That Falls Flat

Plot: Jigar revolves around Jeevan, a recovery agent who wants to lead a respectable life but is drawn back into his dark past.

Movie Review: Jeevan (Praveen Tej), who works as a recovery agent, returns to his native place to attend the funeral of a close friend. Despite having a criminal history, Jeevan has been living a normal life in Bengaluru. However, unexpected circumstances force him to commit another murder, putting his life in jeopardy.

During this time, Jeevan falls in love with Raksha (Vijayshree Kalburgi), who decides to marry another man according to her parents' wishes upon learning about Jeevan's criminal background. Whether Jeevan will marry Raksha becomes the central question of the movie.

On the other hand, Malpe Munna (Yash Shetty) wants to kill Jeevan to take over the ship business from Bhandari (Bala Raawadi).

Director Suri Kunder tackles a story that has been told countless times in Sandalwood, but fails to elevate it with engaging storytelling. Praveen Tej gives his best in emotional and stunt sequences, while Yash Shetty delivers as the villain. Overall, Jigar fails to hit the right chord.
