Btown’s Malavika Sharma comes onboard A Harsha’s Telugu debut with Gopichand

Director A Harsha is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his Tollywood debut hits all the right notes. After getting Tollywood actor Gopichand on board as the leading man, the director has now enlisted Bollywood lass Malavika Sharma. Sources close to the film’s team, share that talks with Sharma have been on for a while now and confirmation came in on Monday.“The team has been scouting for a suitable face since long and came across her profile on social media. Harsha felt she has a versatile face, pretty much like her role in the film, and that’s how things got rolling. Auditions were held and she aced it,” adds the source. Malavika who has started in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, plays a girl with dual shades in the film. “Her introduction in the film is through comedy and looking cute, but as the movie progresses, she takes on a more serious tone and displays a maturity you wouldn’t have associated with her character,” the source points out. The title of the flick is scheduled to be released on Gopichand’s birthday in June.
