How a bleeding Satpal killed a highly-decorated Pak army captain during Kargil War

Despite being shot four times, Satpal Singh managed to shoot dead Capt Sher Khan of the Pakistan army following a fierce hand-to-hand combat

Despite facing four bullets from the enemy's AK47, Satpal Singh — a sepoy from the 8 Sikh Regiment of the Indian Army — valiantly fought and killed Capt Karnal Sher Khan and three others of the Pakistan army after a fierce "man-to-man fight" that lasted several minutes during the Kargil War.
Capt Sher Khan was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan's highest gallantry award, equivalent to India's Param Vir Chakra on the recommendation of the Indian brigade commander, Satpal's superior, who vouched for his bravery.
