A recent viral picture of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and his daughter, Britain's first Lady Akshata Murty, enjoying a casual outing together at a popular ice-cream parlour in Bengaluru has created a buzz on social media.

The picture captures the father-daughter duo spending quality time together at Bengaluru's Corner House ice creams in Jayanagar. Akshata, who is married to UK prime minister Rishi Sunak, is seen sitting beside her father, both dressed casually and holding their ice cream cups.

The image has been widely shared on social media platforms, with users appreciating the simplicity and down-to-earth nature of the Murthy family. One user commented, “Place was packed.... they came quietly and bought their ice cream. Rich but live a common life. This the greatness that Mr Narayana Murthy carries along.”

Last week, Akshata, accompanied by her parents, attended the launch event of author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni's latest book titled "An Uncommon Love: The Early Life of Sudha and Narayana Murthy." The event, held at St Joseph's College of Commerce in Bengaluru, showcased the Infosys founder sharing nostalgic stories about his first meeting with Sudha.

Narayana Murthy and his wife provided insights into their life, captivating the audience with the tale of their initial encounter. The event was attended by their son Rohan Murty, as well as Akshata and her daughters, Anoushka and Krishna.
