Reliance heiress Isha Ambani's very relatable beauty routine

Recently, Reliance heiress Isha Ambani shared her surprisingly relatable beauty routine with Vogue magazine. When asked about her skincare routine, Isha shrugged and smiled, confessing, "My beauty secret is that I have no beauty routine or regimen, to the disappointment of many. I do nothing to my skin." This refreshing honesty is a stark contrast to the meticulously curated beauty routines often touted by celebrities and influencers.

Isha's candidness extends to her hair care as well.
She revealed, "Most people are used to seeing me with sleek, blow-dried hair. But my natural texture is quite voluminous, curly, with some frizz." She elaborated on how her tresses look when they're unstyled: "On a regular day, if you caught me without styling, that's how my hair looks. I'm accustomed to seeing myself like that, though I haven't always embraced it."
Blaming the humidity and heat for her stubborn frizz, Isha shares a sentiment many can relate to. "I think a lot of that comes from growing up in India, which is hot and humid. Oily hair just becomes frizzy and out of control," she explains. This struggle is familiar to anyone who has battled the tropical climate. Isha points out that the societal pressure to have sleek, controlled hair has long overshadowed the natural beauty of curls and volume. "I don't think we've celebrated having curls and volume and frizz. It's never been looked at as pretty or beautiful. I mean, you always had to oil your hair and comb it down so that it wouldn't look so out of control," she continues, reflecting on her childhood tussles with her hair.

Despite her public appearances often featuring perfectly styled hair, Isha admits that her recent photoshoot for Vogue made her reconsider her stance on hair styling. "I just always wanted blow-dried hair. I think in the shoot, it looked artistic, and hopefully it looks nice. But it also made me think and reflect: maybe I should not like blow-dried hair as much and just let it be what it is naturally. I think we need to just be more comfortable with who we are in our own skin."
