Revisiting Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh's lovely wedding lehenga

Genelia D’Souza was once a big name in the Bollywood and Marathi film industry. Making her debut in Hindi films with ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ alongside actor Riteish Deshmukh in 2003, she rose to fame with her portrayal of Aditi in ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ alongside Imran Khan. The stunner soon tied the knot in 2012 with Riteish Deshmukh and thus undertook the decision to step away from the limelight. The shade of maroon was known as the ‘it’ colour for Indian brides in the 2000s. Mixed with shades of dark green or dark purple, most of the celebrity brides did not shy away from opting for the maroon and green colour.
