Vinayaka Chaturthi holds a great religious significance among Hindus.This day is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. On this auspicious day, devotees observe fast and offer prayers to Lord Ganpati. Lord Ganesha is known to be the remover of all obstacles and the devotees who worship Ganesh Ji with immense devotion and dedication, they get all the desired wish fulfillments.
Vinayaka Chaturthi 2024: Puja Rituals
Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath before starting puja rituals. Place an idol of Lord Ganesha on a wooden plank. Light a diya with desi ghee and offer yellow flowers, boondi laddoo or modaks. Devotees should also offer Durva grass. Chant Ganesha Mantra and Ganesha Gayatri Mantra. Visit temple to offer prayers and seek blessings of Ganesh Ji. Devotees must offer meetha paan to Lord Ganesha and Durva grass to appease Lord Vinayak. Devotees can break their fast in the evening after offering water to Moon God. They should break their fast by having sattvik food.
