Kevin Sullivan, the veteran wrestling legend, had met with an unfortunate accident and a GoFundMe page has been set up to bear the costs of the hospital. It was earlier reported that Sullivan, popularly known as The Taskmaster, was suffering from a health crisis. His family and friends have taken to the internet to urge his fans to donate on his GoFundMe page.
The goal of the fundraiser was $20,000 and the family had already achieved to raise more than $32,000 dollars.
His daughter Nicole Sullivan who was a former WCW Legend and now has turned into a podcaster. The fundraiser had been set up by her urging fans to help them at their hour of need. The GoFundMe page described that the legend met with an accident while he was in FloRida signing autographs on the 12th of May. He had to undergo an emergency life-saving surgery that helped save his leg. However post the surgery, he suffered other conditions including sepsis and encephalitis. It was also mentioned that he was in and out of consciousness during that said period.

This fundraiser will not only cover his medical expenses but will also cover his physical therapy costs and the amount needed to transport him back to his family. Writing on the GoFundMe, Sullivan wrote, "Despite these challenges, Kevin has shown incredible resilience. Months later, he is still fighting to regain his independence. Even with an excellent insurance plan, the coverage is nearly exhausted due to the length of stay."

Thanking the ones who supported her in the crisis, Nicole Sullivan wrote, "This is a time where many are facing challenges of all kinds, and the willingness to help my dad is appreciated immensely."

The top donor of the campaign was Jim Cornette who donated $5,000 to the campaign. Additionally, Scott D’Amore, Diamond Dallas Page and Cody Rhodes also donated huge amounts to the fundraiser.
On the work front, Kevin Sullivan had started out his career in WWE as an amateur without any professional training. The Boston born-and-bred wrestler started out his career in the late 1960s, moving to Florida in 1972. He underwent training under promoter Eddie Graham. Later, he emerged to become a popular villain-figure in the WWE Universe. He has also been part of multiple documentaries that include Vice TVs Tales from the Territories and a podcast known as Tuesday with the Taskmaster.
