Three matches that could take place at SummerSlam

The Money in the Bank PLE saw some thrilling and action packed matches take place and some jaw dropping moments that could alter careers. Damian Priest defeated Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship due to an interference by CM Punk who wanted to exact revenge from Drew Mcintyre once again. Mcintyre Had won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and as he had declared on Raw, cashed it in Midway in the match between Rollins and Priest.Punk, while beating up Mcintyre mid match, also jeopardised Rollins’s chances of winning the title, which infuriated Rollins. Also The Bloodline defeated Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens with the help of the ware wolf Jacob Fatu who was unstoppable last night. It was one of the biggest victories for The Bloodline. Tiffany Stratton won the women’s Money in the Bank match. Sami Zayn won and defended his Intercontinental championship against Bron Breakker in an intense battle. Now it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them at SummerSlam and which way the tide turns in terms of the rivalries.

Here are three possible matchups that may happen at SummerSlam
1. Drew McIntyre vs CM punk may finally happen.
After almost 6 months of beating each other up, causing nightmares and costing World Championship chances, Mcintyre and Punk may finally get to face each other in a one-on-one match at SummerSlam. At Money in the Bank, Punk cost Mcintyre another chance to grab the World Heavyweight championship for the fourth time and for the third straight time on a PLE. Like Wrestlemania XL and Clash at the Castle, Punk arrived exactly at the point where McIntyre had an upper hand in the match and thrashed him. He has been nothing short of a nightmare for McIntyre and Drew has lost his mind completely, which was evident at the post show when he elbowed Adam Pearce. While this match up is one of the most envisioned and anticipated by the WWE universe, both the men would be itching to put hands on each other.

2.Cody Rhodes versus Solo Sikoa (WWE championship).
When Sikoa was addressing Cody at SmackDown last night, he mocked and called out Roman Reigns for not being able to defend ‘their’ WWE championship and he vowed to bring it back to The Bloodline. He wanted a title shot against Cody Rhodes and after their magnanimous victory against the trio of Orton, Rhodes and Owens, chances are high that Solo may demand that match at SummerSlam.

3. LA Knight vs Logan Paul for the United States Championship
LA Knight and Logan Paul don't see eye to eye ever since Paul made his debut in WWE. The fact that these two mega stars don’t have a liking for each other was pretty evident, but their recent interactions and confrontation further solidified the fact that they are bound to clash against each other. LA Knight’s demand for a match for Logan’s US championship was shot down by Paul last month, after which LA Knight trespassed Paul’s private life by stealthily entering his house and even lounging at his pool. Then next week on SmackDown, Logan attacked LA Knight, while the latter was addressing the world. If everything goes in the right direction, we might see the championship bout between these two at SummerSlam
