Telecom service providers -- Airtel, Jio and Vodafone-Idea -- have announced the price hike across the prepaid, postpaid and data add-on plans. All three telecom service providers have upped the price of their plans by up to 20%. The new pricing has been effecttive since July 3.
Among the updated offerings, each telecom provider has introduced a Rs 199 prepaid plan, which is now their most affordable option for users seeking unlimited calling.

Jio Rs 199 Prepaid planReliance Jio's Rs 199 prepaid plan marks a significant increase from the previous Rs 155 plan. The plan includes 28 days of validity, offering unlimited calling, 300 SMS, and 2 GB of 4G data for the entire period.
Airtel Rs 199 Prepaid PlanAirtel's new Rs 199 prepaid plan price has been increased from the earlier price of Rs 179. The benefits of this plan include unlimited calling and 2 GB of 4G data over 28 days, with a daily SMS benefit of 100 messages.
Vi Rs 199 Prepaid PlanVodafone Idea (Vi) also has the Rs 199 prepaid plan increased from Rs 179 before. The price hike in Vi comes into effect on July 4. This plan offers similar benefits to Jio's plan, providing 2 GB of 4G data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS over a 28-day period.
