Sudesh Berry is set to join the TV show Vanshaj as Amarjeet Talwar. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, he revealed, “I am going to give the Mahajans sleepless nights,” and discussed how his role will significantly impact the show's dynamics and more. Excerpts from the interaction:
About his role in VanshajAmarjeet Talwar is a very futuristic person, a very lively person.
He's full of life. He enjoys life. He enjoys himself. He wanted to be successful and he's successful in his business. And he is ageless.
What made you say yes to the showHaving spent many years in the industry, I've had the pleasure of diving into various facets of acting. I've been following "Vanshaj" for a while now and was quite impressed with the way the story has developed so far. It's a riveting show that hooks you right from the beginning. So, when they approached me for this role, I immediately saw it as an exciting opportunity to dive into a character that intrigued me. What made it even more special was knowing I’d be working alongside
Puneet, a dear friend and colleague with whom I've shared the screen before. These factors made the decision rather easy. I'm thrilled to be a part of such a gripping project and can't wait to begin this journey with the viewers.
How is your entry going to impact the Mahajans in the show?Well, actually I am going to give them sleepless nights because I stick to my usuls, my principles, whatever we decided in childhood, the I and the margins. I stuck to that and I am sticking to that. I am very open-minded and very frank, straightforward, a little blunt, okay, outspoken. And they are hiding something because they are on the other side. They are on the back foot. I am not on the back foot. And also the Talwars and Mahajans are going to be business rivals, that's why.

Having been part of several iconic shows in the past, how do you see your journey? My journey is yet to start. I am launched in a film called Vansh in 1992. And I am still standing in that zone in 1992. My waist was 27 and when I was in Ghayal and Vansh and now I can, still wear my son's trousers and my son is 30 years younger to me. I'm wearing his trousers and I'm wearing his shoes and I'm wearing his shirt and I'm size zero like Julia Roberts. So I maintain because I don't drink. I don't smoke. And I'm like my dad used to say, I follow his mantra. I'm the only actor in Bollywood, a friendless actor. I mean, I don't run after to make friends. I'm my best friend. My best friend is Sudesh Berry. I'm my best friend and my best critic also.
