New Trouble For Shilpa Shetty And Raj Kundra: FIR Filed After Trader Alleges Gold Investment Scam

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra have been accused of fraud, leading Mumbai court to order a police investigation. As per reports, Bullion trader Prithviraj Kothari filed a complaint alleging that Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra and their company, Satyug Gold Private Limited, were involved in a fraudulent gold investment scheme. The court authorized a police investigation after reviewing the complaint. Kothari's complaint focuses on a 2014 gold investment scheme by Satyug Gold, which promised discounted gold purchases with guaranteed delivery at maturity. He claims he invested ₹90 lakh, expecting 5,000 grams of 24-carat gold in April 2019, but never received the gold despite multiple attempts to contact the company. The court has directed the police to file an FIR against Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, and others involved with Satyug Gold on charges of cheating and criminal breach of trust.
