BAFTA TV Awards: 'Squid Game: The Challenge', 'Happy Valley' and 'Top Boy' emerge as big winners; 'The Crown' snubbed

At the BAFTA TV Awards held last night at at London's Royal Festival Hall, 'Squid Game: The Challenge' triumphed in the Reality Series category. Meanwhile, in the drama category, while 'The Crown' and 'Black Mirror' led the pack with the most nominations, it was The Challenge', 'Happy Valley' and 'Top Boy' that emerged victorious.

The winners of the BAFTA TV Awards have been unveiled, with 'Squid Game: The Challenge' clinching victory in the Reality Series category at the prestigious awards ceremony. The series emerged victorious among stiff competition, triumphing over contenders like 'Banged Up' and 'Married At First Sight.'
The 2024 BAFTA TV Awards, hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, celebrated the brightest talents of British television at London's Royal Festival Hall.

While 'The Crown' and 'Black Mirror' led the pack with the most nominations, it was The Challenge' 'Happy Valley' and 'Top Boy' that emerged as the frontrunners in clinching the prestigious TV BAFTA awards, overshadowing the competition.
