US President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Republican rival Donald Trump has sowed the seeds of mutiny in the US Democratic ranks. Party lawmakers are publicly calling for him to quit the 2024 race. At least three Congressmen broke ranks on Tuesday, asking Biden to bow out, even as his aides and supporters, including his wife Jill Biden, tried to reassure donors and party rank and file that he will bounce back from his debate debacle.
