Today, Creative UK launches new research in partnership with the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC) and BVA BDRC, supported by the Creative Industries Council, Bloomberg Philanthropies and YouTube. What growth has funding opened up for you and your creative business? How have you used that investment? Did you struggle to access it? Where are you based in the UK? These are all things we want to understand with this research. Your lived experiences will form an evidence base to drive discussions a range of UK Government Departments as they develop and implement policy under a new UK Government. This is a rare opportunity to affect the future of creative funding and finance and generate change for yourself and other creators. 📣 Deadline approaching: Creative Catalyst Challenge Fund 📣 With a total grant pot of £250,000, the fund is designed to support creative entrepreneurs and companies in the UK working towards reducing their environmental impact and contributing to net-zero goals for the Creative Industries. Your proposed new product/system or process will enable companies to build upon their creative and commercial ideas, creating opportunity for business growth. For Round 2, we will allocate the £250,000 funding pot as follows: 🌱 One award of up to £100,000 for more established businesses with market traction and customers of a product, ideally with co-investment in place 🌱 Two awards of up to £50,000 each for businesses 2+ years old looking to develop a new product or idea 🌱 Two awards of up to £25,000 each – very early-stage/new businesses and R&D ideas Applications close 9am, 22 July.
