The Waddle of Worcester sees some wonderfully designed penguins waddle all throughout the city to raise money for a fantastic cause. Do you know something that makes penguins so precious? They are known to give pebbles to other penguins by way of a gift as part of their nesting process🐧 Well, we took this fun fact and developed an interactive installation where you can get creative and design your very own pebble to be seen by the masses. In the past month, we’ve reviewed our policies and benefits, making significant improvements to how we support our colleagues. For carers, we now offer up to two weeks paid leave so colleagues can support their loved ones who have a disability, a long-term illness or older parents. For parents, we’re introducing a new family leave policy for any parent welcoming a new child. That’s 18 weeks’ full pay, then 8 weeks’ half pay and up to 26 weeks’ at the statutory rate, for every parent, no matter how their family is made up. And to support colleague wellbeing, we now offer access to a 24/7 online GP service and additional women’s health services, which includes help with menopause symptoms, cancer screenings and periods. Last month, I reached 6 months at OWB Creative Communications. It has been whirlwind since I joined, and I have enjoyed every single second. Our Senior Response Lead Kate Olive had an absolute blast at the Henley Royal Regatta last week, thanks to the amazing team at Destinations Alliance 🎉 With access to a fabulous private marquee right on the River Thames, Kate had front-row seats to all the rowing action. Plus, Kate even cruised up and down the river on our own private boat! With champagne flowing and the sun shining, it was a day to remember🥂 Fun fact: As the world's most prestigious regatta, Henley draws over 300,000 attendees each year 😮 #HenleyRoyalRegatta #SummerFun
