(It pays off) Exciting findings from our latest Pulse Survey have been published, we've collated and analysed data from 157 UK social housing landlords over May 2024. 📊 Standout takeaway: Landlords conducting rolling regulatory surveys with regular sentiment analysis are reporting tenant satisfaction levels 9% higher than those using single annual surveys. Why? Because, these regular temperature checks are a gold mine of insight, allowing you to understand their needs and wants. How 30% of landlords are bucking the satisfaction downward trend With standing room only at Housing 24 Tenant and Resident stage last week, where sector data giant Jonathan Cox revealed the insight behind the numbers as Housemark exclusively revealed the sectors first full year look at the TSMs, it’s no wonder that around 300 leaders gathered on Thursday to hear more about the results. With overall satisfaction at a five year low under 70%, the most frequency asked question was how are those starting to break away from the pack are doing it…. Jonathan reveals the 4 steps to make it happen 1)Move out of a compliance headspace and move into a strategic space that sees tenant insight as a valuable tool to shape services and improve tenant experience 2)Do something meaningful with the data and use it to understand sentiment, identify hot spots and improve your understanding of needs and preferences 3)Focus on service redesign now - don’t wait. There is an 18 month lag from improving services to seeing an upward improvement in perception so use data to tell you what you need to do now and get on with it 4)Align the data and insight to other reference points and sources of information - for example operational metrics issues in areas like contact centres and neighbourhoods are usually aligned with lower satisfaction.
