It's Learning Disability Week! 💜 1.5 million people in the UK have a learning disability. We want people with a learning disability to be seen and recognised for who they are. Research shows that people with a learning disability have had enough of being ignored, mistreated, patronised - and, sometimes, even locked away. 👉 Donate today and help us make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability: https://brnw.ch/21wKMD9

    • A purple graphic with four oatmeal coloured boxes on top. In each box there's a statistic relating to people with a learning disability. They read, twice as many people with a learning disability die avoidably than in the general population. One in five people in the UK have seen someone mocked because of their learning disability. 28% of people in the UK still believe that learning disability relates to a mental health problem. Disabled households need £975 a month to have the same standard of living as non-disabled households.
