What a fantastic day at yesterdays Newbury Soup Kitchen's Charity Golf Day at Sandford Springs. A total of £10,500 was raised through the course of the day and evening, where Newbury Soup Kitchen CEO, Meryl Praill, gave an insightful presentation to attendees about the growth of the Soup Kitchen and its aspirations to now work with supporters to locate a permanent building in the Newbury area, to continue the great work they have already been able to achieve. Mettal UK LTD Managing Director, George Darling, spoke about the importance of the charity to the local community and what good can be achieved from relatively small donations and how easy it is for other local businesses to become Soup Dragons. It's Euro '24 Eve! Football Fever is taking over at Mettal UK.
