It was great to be involved with #StepUpToNetZero & have our own Bronagh Crerar join the panel to share her learnings on the importance of sustainability 🍃 🎥 ♻ in our industry.
There was a great buzz at the #StepUpToNetZero event last night where participating businesses and placements came together to connect, collaborate and discuss the legacy of the SUTNZ placements for businesses. We were delighted to see how they are embedding the positive changes resulting from the SUTNZ Action Plan and placement, and solving some of the common challenges that organisations face on their #sustainability journey. Thank you to our Senior Project Manager, Cheryl McCulloch for hosting and our panel of speakers - Bevan O'Daly (Bawn Textiles), Abigale Neate Wilson (Agile City CIC), Helen Moore (Scottish Contemporary Art Network), Bronagh Crerar (QTV) and Dominic Dowling (Glasgow City Council) for offering insights from different sectors and sizes and sharing methods to sustain the momentum created from participating in SUTNZ. We were also delighted to welcome back Bronagh as she was a participant on the previous iteration of SUTNZ and QTV sustained her role after recognising the benefits of embedding #sustainability in their operations. Thanks to Tron Theatre Ltd for hosting us – the atmosphere was electric and the fully vegetarian and vegan catering was delicious (everyone brought tupperware to reduce #foodwaste and to take home leftovers). We look forward to sharing the great work the #SUTNZ participants have been progressing in their businesses and the legacy it will have across the city for #NetZero and #Circularity. Congratulations to Clydesdale Hockey Club🏆! QTV are proud to sponsor the new Guinness World Records Holders, Clydesdale Hockey Club. QTV was incredibly excited to be onsite 🎥 to capture its impressive world record attempt this past weekend 🌍. The club successfully set the record for the longest-ever hockey match lasting a staggering 60 hours! 🏑 Not satisfied with setting one record, Clydesdale Hockey Club set a second consecutive record 💫 in the same weekend, hosting a match with the greatest number of players to play in a seven-hour match exhibition. QTV CEO Jack McGill, and Director of People and Purpose, Lucy Lake were among the 440 players taking to the pitch to create this world record 🏅. Well Done Leah!
