Whether you’re meeting someone for lunch, price checking a purchase or checking the latest scores, a lack of mobile coverage in any retail environment is painful. From the perspective of shopping centre management, offering robust in-building #mobileconnectivity does a lot more than simply take customers’ pain away. It can significantly enhance the whole customer experience, enable new retail technologies, streamline commercial operations and open new revenue opportunities. It’s guaranteed to improve customer satisfaction, increase property value and operational efficiency. We fund all the upfront costs associated with delivering distributed antenna systems (#DAS) in retail environments, simply charging an annual operating fee to supply and maintain robust mobile connectivity across all network providers throughout the entire building. Great to see France’s public broadcaster showing live coverage of the Olympic torch’s journey to Paris thanks to a private 5G service. France Télévisions has been showing the torch's journey since 9th May with ten hours of live broadcast each day. The private 5G connectivity bubble maintains a perfect signal on the move (it’s deployed in the boot), overcoming problems of coverage and network saturation. Another superb use case for private 5G networks. #5G #Olympics2024

Mobile Phone Signal (or lack thereof) in built assets. It's astonishing that in today's advanced working environment - where smart sensors evaluate people movement, environmental goals, and more - we would overlook the importance of mobile connectivity. When occupiers move in or guests visit, they should be able to use their mobile phones, but many cannot because we haven't invested in our connectivity footprint. Approximately 80% of mobile phone traffic occurs indoors, yet most buildings block mobile signals from penetrating their walls. This is not only frustrating but can be damaging on both personal and business levels. While mobile network operators have historically invested heavily in providing strong outdoor networks, the indoor environment presents a different challenge. As part of the wider Shared Access group, Node leverages Shared Access' expertise in funding and delivering multi-operator in-building mobile connectivity solutions. Node ensures each of our enabled assets is equipped with sufficient capacity for mobile and smart technology, meaning no intrusive or repetitive work is required if you decide to implement any additional tech throughout your asset's lifecycle. From sports stadiums to The National Gallery and leading global coworking providers, Shared Access has a proven track record of enhancing occupier experience within assets. https://lnkd.in/eqqis294

We have recently overseen a successful project at a NATS site on the Scottish Isle of Tiree. Beinn Mhurstat is one of 165 sites on the UK coastline supporting a critical communication network between land and sea for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), a project driven by Telent Technology Services Ltd. We worked with our Principal Contractor, Opifex Ltd, to have a bespoke steel face frame designed, fabricated and installed on an existing lattice tower. This has enabled Telent to perfectly position their equipment and complete all works on behalf of the MCA. It’s been great collaborating with our partners to support the MCA in keeping people safe on the coast and at sea. Liam Cooke | Craig York | Andy Gates

The provision of in-building mobile connectivity should be as fundamental to any building as the supply of electricity and water. It plays a crucial role in improving employee, tenant and visitor satisfaction. By providing robust in-building wireless connectivity, building owners and operators can address a critical tenant need, improve productivity, enable modern work practices, support new technologies and meet the high expectations of today's digital workforce. All of which leads to higher tenant satisfaction and retention rates.

Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour lands in Ireland this week, with three nights at the fantastic Aviva Stadium. It’s the first tour to surpass $1billion in revenue, making it the highest-grossing of all time. Thanks to the mobile connectivity infrastructure that we installed at this impressive stadium venue back in 2020, fans will be able to share every moment of this record-breaking experience as it happened with their friends, family and followers. #erastour #avivastadium #taylorswift
