The lab will be a versatile workspace of co-working areas, meeting rooms and event spaces and aims to boost digital skills, productivity and innovation by providing organisations with access to a Vodafone 5G Standalone test bed and immersive technologies like Virtual Reality. We're thrilled to celebrate the launch of the Esports Accelerator Programme! This 8-week programme, delivered in partnership between British Esports and Sunderland Software City, is designed for existing business teams and esports entrepreneurs with new ideas at the very start of their journey. Starting in September 2024, it will feature a mix of online and in-person sessions in Sunderland and include bespoke workshops, mentoring, peer learning, investment support, preparation, social events, and networking opportunities. Topics covered will include: - Esports Industry Orientation, Business Coaching, Innovation - Financial Literacy, Funding Strategies - Marketing & Branding - Legal Implications, Investment: opportunities, preparation and pitching. The programme will culminate in an investors' day where participants will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a selected group of potential investors.
