So, you really have to keep getting into the ‘but why’.” 📈 Metrics that Matter: Matthew Chappell Global Client Success Officer says “Our research and analysis show that it’s easier for marketing to demonstrate growth when a business aligns on the metrics that matter. Demonstrating that trust is low and low trust is impacting sales, allows everyone to focus on using creative to raise trust” ❤️ Brand Love to Unlock Growth: use insights to find where there is love to drive creative. “The minute we started talking to these people we found out that people thought of us as giving them access to success, that people associate quality with us. Big thanks to Criteo for hosting me at the UK Commerce Media Summit today 🛒 where we got some great insights from ASOS.com, Currys plc, AS Watson, Colgate-Palmolive, IAB and more into how brands and retailers are building and scaling their #retailmedia propositions, the challenges with getting those models right and best practice on how to tap into the mindset of the polarized customer. 🧠 Customers are unpredictable and unconventional. To do this well, you have to enter with an open mind to connect with the complex, irrational consumer. ➕ It’s “a means to an end” and has got to be additional and incremental to the shopper journey, not disruptive to the experience. ⚖️ Measurement standards still have a way to go to catch up with other media - a common language and currency is key. But it’s a bit “like herding cats”. 🧪 Be willing to learn fast and fail fast. That requires an always-on mentality for testing and developing to scale and be successful.
