The site visit 9-10 May 2015 is meant to allow representatives of the Wikimedia Foundation to verify Esino Lario as the site for Wikimania 2016. Furthermore the visit is also a chance to allow our team to meet and to continue the work for the preparation of Wikimania Esino Lario 2016. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to suggest any change to the problem to make it more suitable for your interests and expectations.

Time Group A Group B with Ellie and Garfield
10.30-12.00 At the Primary School. Wikipedia training. Three simultaneous sessions of 20 minutes each about Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and OpenStreetMap and Wikivoyage. To get a sense of the Wikimedia projects, people can attend each of them, one after the other. Around the village - Visit to Wikimania meeting rooms.
12.30-14.30 Lunch. 10-15 euro per person.
15.00-16.30 At the Theatre of the Kindergarten. Wikimania risk assessment: personal safety, emergencies, accessibility, fire, electricity, lightnings, connectivity, regulations, traffic and mobility. Around the village - Visit to different kind of accommodation we will be using at Wikimania
17.00-18.00 At the Theatre of the Kindergarten. Meeting the community. Presentation of Wikimania Esino Lario and the team.
19.00-21.00 Dinner at the restaurant pizzeria Oasi. 10-15 euro per person.
Meeting during dinner of the Communication team.

16.00 Departure for Varenna.
17.00 Visit to Varenna and Villa Monastero.
19.00 Dinner in Varenna in a pizzeria (à la carte).
