I've been using cordless vaccuums for a long time and felt like my vacuum wasn't cleaning very well so I started searching for a new one. After a few trials, I still wasn't finding a cordless option with the suction power I wanted so I decided to try this corded vaccuum.
Pros of Corded Vacuum
- I was shocked at how much dust and dog hair this thing picked up. I'd vacuumed with the cordless just yesterday and there was clearly a lot that wasn't picked up. It even sucked up dog toy fluff that the cordless was unable to pick up.
- Easy to maneuver
- Cord is super long so I can vacuum the entire hallway and two rooms by plugging it into one outlet
- You can see how much dust/dirt you're picking up. Again, shocking.
- Never having to worry about the battery dying
- Never having to worry about charging it
- Huge dustbin that I only have to empty once after cleaning the whole house
- Much less expensive
- Actually picked up dog hair off my couch as well
- Has 5 suction levels. I've only used the 3rd level and that was more than enough.
Cons to corded vaccuum
- Heavier and larger in size
- Louder than cordless
- Plugging it in and maneuvering around the cord can be annoying.
- Can't get into tight spaces so have to use an attachment for that
There are some pros to cordless, but after seeing how much dust and debris was left behind by using this more powerful vacuum, I've decided that the cordless vacuum isn't strong enough for my needs. I'm excited to use this one!

Better than my old Dyson
I am thrilled with how much dirt and hair it picked up after using my Dyson Animal ball only 5 days before the picture was taken. This was from our laminated floors and 2 runners. The carpet on our lower floor was double this. I feel like my Dyson had only been getting up a small portion of the dirt and hair in my carpet, all of this time.I love the way this machine cleans, the manually adjustable head, the ease of cleaning the filter, and how light the machine is.The only downside for me is that my stair tool lost almost all of its cleaning bristles in less than 2 weeks. They were breaking off and I was finding them sitting on the stair I was cleaning. I am going to have to reach out to get it replaced, and that is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.I do love my new vaccuum for sure. I would buy it again and I would recommend this to anyone. It is a great vacuum and well worth the price.
