This battery operated lantern was a neat accessory, but quit working after a few months. Good thing I had an Asurion protection warranty. In a chat session, I described the nature of the problem which was not battery related.Since the item was no longer in stock to send a replacement, my original payment amount was immediately refunded and credited back to my account. No hassle whatsoever!I definitely recommend buying an Asurion Protection when purchasing any mechanical item to ensure coverage after the original manufacturer's warranty has expired. I am so glad I did and will do so in the future.

I've been trying for months to get a claim settled, leggit lamps broke, pic, receipts, everything they ask for, there website is always come back later, try later, ect. I call.... they open another claim... because time passed not able to complete 1st claim ,start all over again, I tried again now for two days, there website still not able to upload pics to it. They try to keep making you do repetitive things over and over so you will get tired and give up. Saves them money, I went rounds in the beginning they had me keep contacting Seller even though product was well out of Seller warranty. Final got them to agree after a month of gong back and forth with Asurion, now I'm on 3 months and still they say clear pics not uploading but everything else did, they always have a delay, excuse to do over.

Update to review, funny after I wrote this they finally after 3 transferred customer service reps, got one that looked into my complaint, she said 28 PICS uploaded, and that nobody took the time to looke at them. She was going to look at and call me back….she never did, but I got an email that the 59.00 was Refunded to Amazon gift card. Realty..28 pics in 3 months and nobody could see the pics were there and just kept asking for more pics?? That’s what I mean about them wearing you down so you give up, they got the pics, probably the 1st time I sent, but just kept delaying refund hoping I’d go away .
