SHORT VERSION: this is amazing, especially if you use the tiny setting. Follow instructions. Clean it.(The scabs / open areas of my skin are from my scratching like crazy before getting this)Omg I can’t believe I didn’t buy this sooner. I have literally 12 mosquito bites on my ankle and I wanted to scratch my skin off.Thankfully this arrived within 24h and holy sherpa, the relief is instant. The relief also improves over time. I used this on my first bug bite about 30mins ago and it immediately felt improved. But now the itching is almost 100% gone!It leaves a suction imprint on your skin, especially the more pressure you apply (duh), but that goes away within ~10-30 mins as long as you don’t do it too hard.Follow the instructions. Don’t use too much suction or you’ll bruise your skin.Make sure you remove the tip and clean it as instructed, too. I had no idea how much venom and pus mosquito bites had in them. Oddly satisfying to see it come out. I feel like Dr. Mosquito Bite Popper.Also, I prefer to flip the cap and use the tiny suction opening, particularly on bony prominences like my ankles. I find that the larger/default setting causes more suction on my fatty tissue, and that bruises more easily.I’m glad I got the 3-pack bc it’s way too good not to share.Bug Bite Thing people, you can put me on payroll bc I’m now your biggest rep ☺️

I got this bug bite thing last year. Then I put it somewhere that I wouldn't lose it. Then I forgot where I put it for safe keeping. Fast forward to 1 year later. I happened to be rummaging through a drawer and found it. About a week later, I was walking the dog in the afternoon and got bit by a yellow fly. I don't know if you have them where you live but their bite is painful, they bite fast, and it itches for at least a week. I did manage to kill the critter. I went and got the Bug Bite Thing and applied it as directed. I didn't expect it would work, but it did. I had to use it several times to get relief but it did take the pain and the itch away. I took the barrel apart to clean it and there was a miniscule amount of fluid present in the collection area. It is now evening and I am comfortable and there is NO pain or itching at the bite site. It's cheap, it's painless and it really does work. I recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the suction tool! It helped immensely to lesson and to shorten the discomfort from tick bites. It also helped with chigger bite discomfort.
The tweezer is a great option - using it specifically for ticks, instead of having to use the tweezer we use for every other need in the house is a bonus!
We live among wooded areas and have dogs who need walks on paths through the wooded areas so it is pretty impossible for us to avoid tick & chigger issues so my husband & I are very happy to have found these tools.

Lucky me! My 18-yr-old indoor cat ran out at night and was gone for over an hour. There is a pack of coyotes that has a den 2 blocks away, in the direction he ran. He would occasionally run out and bounce around the front yard for 5-10 minutes to get me to play “chase the kitty”, but if I didn’t want to play, he’d come right back. That night, I think he was playing “chase me” with the neighborhood rabbits. (I’m sure he had more fun than they did!)

I am lucky! He came home!!- but brought fleas with him. I ordered fogger, and sticky strips, and this tool. The next morning, I laundered all of the bedding in hot water. That afternoon my veterinarian sold me flea treatment that would be safe for my 2 old cats, and I treated everything with diatomaceous earth, since the foggers didn’t arrive till the next day.

Unfortunately, I had been bitten several times before this bug bite tool arrived the next day, and I had big allergic welts. I tried the bug bite tool on all of the bites, and it only worked on the one from this morning that still had the small white center. I used the tool 3x, and still had to squeeze out the last of the white center.

If I haven’t gotten rid of every flea, I’ll use this tool at the first itch! And I’ll be super careful going in and out of the door, since an old cat is faster than an old lady!

I somehow managed to ask him to get the mosquito thing out of my vanity drawer. Not only did it extract the stinger painlessly, but I have had absolutely no swelling and minimal pain. I'm so impressed.

This product is truly awesome. Stops annoying itching, swelling, almost immediately. Would take this over expensive topicals any day. The only downside is the quality of the plastic itself. I left it in one of my cars for a few days (in AZ) and the heat caused the reversible cap to crack; rendering it useless.

This is a miracle product.
I have had pretty bad reaction to mosquito bites all my life. I am constantly bitten when outside most of the year. Bites get huge and last for weeks-
well not anymore!
If I use this tool after coming inside, the bite pretty much completely goes away within a few hours. No lasting itch or redness most times.
The concept of this device is simple, but it’s genius!

Seems to work if you get to the bite within a few hours or at least the same day. I started using this because the Benedryl creme just does not seem effective anymore (although I bought new creme). Sometimes it takes more than one application.

I was initially skeptical, but I bought it after a NYT product recommendation and took it on a recent beach vacation. During that trip, I got bitten three times by mosquitos, and each time, I used the bug bite thing to treat the bite. It really works! The first time, I used a little too much suction and it left a red bruise that lasted a few days. The other two times, I used a gentler pressure and there wasn't any mark. Kept the bites from itching. Highly recommended.

The Bug Thing works! I have used it as has my family. It takes the itch out, hands down. Fortunately we only had misquote bites to try them out on. I purchased 3 and will have to reorder because everyone wants to try them. I want my own as sharing is overrated. They can be washed with soap and water and are sturdy enough to last. Great stocking stuffer if going on vacation as well.
