Worked perfect
This was so easy to use and saved us so much money. You’d never know we used an adhesive hem kit. The first picture has the original curtain length on the left and the hemmed curtain on the right. I accidentally ironed the adhesive directly causing my iron to get gunked up, but with a little goo-gone and warmth it came off great and I was able to finish the project without another hitch. So beware the direction your ironing while pressing these on, but otherwise it works perfect and a great solution for someone trying to save some money.

I don't understand how anyone has a problem with this . U don't have to be crafty... U need to know how to make a fold. See, this stuff looks like a tape but it's more... Think of string, glued and dried so what ur doing is melting glue. Turn clothes inside out and then stuff a piece of this stuff in there. U don't have to lay it perfectly, just make sure none is sticking out because it might be hard to get off ur iron but thats worst thing that's gonna happen. So u heat iron up somewhere safe and away from flammable things as ur folding and placing tape all around it .. then lay the hot iron (I had it set in middle like shown in pic) and it's been preheated so it's hot. Put in on the fold for a few seconds and flip to other side . U can feel by listening and feeling for roughness if it's melted before going to next side. Let it cool and then feel it, it should feel like it's all glued together but not super glue hard .. its like a billion threads lumped together.
Now the only issue was a spot with no tape. It was the seam and it immediately lifted so I put a small piece of this in there and hit it again with the iron but maybe a second longer to get through the thicker stitches. Leaving openings without tape... Does it stuff hold forever? No. Not like going and getting it hemmed but my son has wore his uniform pants all year (sept thru may, so far) and its still doing its job but the seam has came off so that one spot gets his foot stuck every time he puts them on, but its still up enough that i haven't touched it up, yet. When i do, im just going to put tape in the parts that lost it and keep the rest that held good still intact. It has worked just as well on every material too, from flare yoga pants to school uniform pants. Very different material but same results.

This is a game changer. I was tired of always spending money at the dry cleaners to hem pants for my husband and 3 boys. This hemming tape works really well and paid for itself after I hemmed the first pair of pants. It's very easy to use. I was able to hem 4 pairs of pants and still had plenty left over for curtains!!
