To keep things that way, we developed a milk system cleaner which takes the form of mini tabs. Together with the automatic cleaning program, they effectively remove milk fats and proteins. New milk system cleaning crystals easy to use.

It seems Jura has stopped making their milk system cleaning liquid and replaced it with these little "crystals". They are actually sort of like mini tablets (itty bitty tiny tablets). The newly designed bottle dispenser really is simple to use one you get used to it. It is a built in dispenser of the amount you need and it works the same as the liquid. Your machine will mix up the bits with the hot water to make the liquid and it will go through the system the same as before. Do a youtube search and you'll see people demonstrating how you push the button on the dispenser and one measure of the bits will dispense into your water draining outer section. Your Jura machine will then mix up the liquid as part of the cleaning cycle. Overall I think these mini tabs are a bit safer and easier to use than the liquid.

Changed rating. For my new model Z10 these little tabs work so well and I am very happy with them. I found using them with my older machine/s a pain but the new machine is great. *****
These are a pain in the neck. Uneven amounts dispensed! I used hot water and waited and stirred. Not dissolved 100% . added the water to fill the Jura dispenser and ran it. It only used less than 1/4 of the solution and the machine was working very hard (spouting) the (maybe dense or viscous) liquid. I used a different vessel and ran it through with water as in the past. I then added more water to the remaining liquid from the tabs and cleaned it once again. Now the stupid pills seemed to work. I do NOT like this product. Bring back the old liquid cleaner !!!!

This is a genuine Jura product at a great price. I use these tiny tabs every day to keep my Jura milk system clean. The tablets dissolve in about 5 minutes with warm water. I just do other cleaning tasks around the kitchen as they dissolve.

When you spend $4K on your espresso superautomatic, you want your investment to last and sometimes buying the manufacturer’s maintenance products is the only right answer. Yes it’s an expensive cleaner and yes, you go through a lot of it because the machine needs to be cleaned everyday (unless you’re not doing milk based drinks) but the coffee continues to taste great and sometimes that’s all that matters in life.

This is a huge improvement from the liquid! It’s more efficient anyways which I love. I would recommend letting the tabs sit in a tiny bit of water for a minute before running the milk cleaning cycle. I find that helps dissolve them quicker.

Jura used to sell a 1 litre bottle of milk cleaner concentrate that I was accustom to and that I liked. They phased that product out and replaced it with these dispensers. The dispenser lasts longer than the liquid cleaner and takes up less storage space but I find it necessary to stir the pellets to dissolve them, otherwise, they don't break down completely in the "milk clean" cycle. If you stir them up (I use a chopstick), they work fine.
