Great hat for the beach!
A nice fit with an adjustable band around the top of your head. The appearance was subtle and versatile. It didn’t wrinkle in our suitcase and covered my husband’s neck well (he’s prone to sunburn!). He wore it all day and didn’t overheat! It even stayed on with the wild waves and windy shores of OBX.

I have tried a wide variety of hats for sun protection and hated each and every one til now! I walk a lot and live in a climate that has very intense sun and almost constant wind. This lightweight, broad-brimmed hat adjusts to fit nicely and the chin strap is comfortable. The large and protective back flap is easy to roll up and down without taking the hat off. The venting makes it breathable and my head doesn’t get too hot. If you have longer hair, you can even pull it through the little opening provided for the purpose and get it off your neck. After wearing it on several long walks I made the joke in the title—it’s like having your own little tent to keep your head and the back of your neck shady and cool!
