  2. We'll ship you a replacement device (same or newer model depending on availability). You'll also receive a pre-paid shipping label to send your damaged device back to us (must have a valid credit card on file in order to receive a replacement)

  3. Return your damaged device within 30 days from reception (otherwise you will be charged the cost of the replacement).

Added this coverage to a Kindle Scribe and, unlike other online sellers, the protection plan is not automatically refunded when returning the covered product. Didn't realize this until after the return window closed. Be very careful when purchasing this coverage. Sellers like Google, Samsung and Apple will automatically cancel additional coverage purchased when a product is returned. Not the case with Amazon devices. Be warned. Very expensive mistake to make.
