How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Lucidly written, exhaustively researched. Snow is an archaeologist, and his review of evolving interpretations is fascinating , but he has obviously spent time with the Tribes. His tone is human, and respectful.

Essential historical reading. The native peoples who advised Franklin et al on the constitution. When they asked the Iroquois what they thought, they said "It won't work because a) you've written the women out of the decision-making process, and b) you're going for majority vote instead of working through your decisions to consensus".
Yeah... someone should have been listening harder.
