Sleep temperature has proven benefits

Physician-led BedJet sleep study shows remarkable results

In a doctor-led study of chronically hot and sweaty sleepers, BedJet is the first device ever with these incredible results. BedJet is the only product in its category whose clinical sleep results were published in a medical journal and presented at a medical conference by physicians for physicians.

BedJet clinically proven sleep better doctors cooling warming sweat climate control custom menopause

What makes BedJet better than other similar products?

BedJet is air-based, which means there are no lumpy mattress pads, wires, leaky water tubes to sleep on. Because our products use air, they are also incredibly efficient at pulling moisture and sweat from your bedding to keep you cool all night long.

Is a Cloud Sheet required?

Although not required, the Cloud Sheet gives you much more even air distribution in the bed than using the BedJet with your own sheets. Using a Dual Zone Cloud Sheet with a single unit allows airflow to be restricted to only one side of the bed.

Can I use a Cloud Sheet by itself?

The Cloud Sheet requires a BedJet base unit to disperse air and function as intended. If no BedJet is attached to the Cloud Sheet, the Cloud Sheet will simply act as a standard high-quality top sheet, with no cooling or warming properties.

Is the BedJet noisy?

BedJet uses patented acoustic dampening technology, so the white noise is comparable to central air or a room fan on typical low and medium settings (38dB to 39dB). High and "Turbo" settings reach 43dB to 47dB but are primarily used in short bursts.

Does the BedJet require maintenance?

BedJet is an extremely low maintenance machine. The only regular maintenance suggested is a filter cleaning every three months (more often if you have pets). A lifetime washable air filter is located in the air intake grille - just rinse and replace!

BedJet is not an air conditioner and not a replacement for A/C in hot rooms over 79°F

I’m going to write this device 3.9 stars1. For people like me who have custom size beds the extensions are not long enough. I have a 16 inch memory foam mattress even if you had a 12 inch on the extender that comes along with this does not work. You need a double extender or you need base extender that operates at a 45° angle. Where you can squeeze it inside the mattress versus underneath it.2. The system is powerful however not cold to the limit that I needed at my settings is at 66° but it’s at 74 actual.Other than that, I have no complaints on this device. It’s very well thought out it’s powerful, but I wish it could get a little bit colder and the adapters that come along with the hose should’ve been more well thawed out other than that I have no complaints.

I was having the most horrible night sweats. I had been told about the bed jet, but thought it was sooo expensive. After losing almost a year of sleep, I decided to take a chance. And it has changed my life. The fan is very quiet, It’s not freezing cold but just enough to cool me down before I get soaking wet. It’s easy to set up and remove in the morning (I slide the hose under my bed). I love it so much, It’s so delightful, the only thing that would be better is not being woken up by a hot flash! It’s my most favorite thing Ive purchased in a long time, and I I’ve never been so happy about buying an appliance.

Also, I hooked it up more toward the middle of my bed/body since the hot flashes are basically from the waist up (and I hate having cold feet), and it does not bother my partner. All I have to do is put my arm down and the cooling air does not get to the other side of the bed.

I appreciate my bed jet. I tell everyone to get it & i really think everyone should at least try it. I found out about this product again on TikTok & I wasn’t disappointed. I was a little skeptical about it tbh because it doesn’t have too many reviews which is why i am making my own! If you like the feeling of warm sheets & blankets i highly suggest this. I love the cooling setting as well because my partner & i tend to be sweaty sleepers. I turn it on when i am taking my night shower then by the time i get into my bed it is the ideal temp & makes me fall asleep quicker. Our condo isn’t insulated very well so i have tried many other alternatives but this is the best so far.

Not only will you love it but your pets will enjoy too! The design of the product itself is super well thought out & hasnt caught the attention of our naughty pets who I tend to chew on cords. They also love how quiet it is when it is on so it doesn’t deter them from sleeping with us. My poodle loves it & he is usually a scary cat when its comes to noises; when we turn it on he goes straight up his stairs into our bed since he knows the routine.

My only hesitation about this product was the lack of reviews & the price! It is a hefty fee but honestly we’re finding it to be worth every penny. It truly makes our evenings better.

As a 45 year old woman in a noisy city apartment, i feel like I've barely slept the past couple of years. Went on a quest for the perfect noise-cancelling earbuds last year and solved that issue (which ended up being a combo of 4 different sets of ANC earbuds all kept charged at my bedside for quick changes), but have recently gotten to the end of my patience with the pre-menopausal night sweats, tossing and turning to find the cool spot on the bed/pillow, and the endless cycle of violently throwing the covers off to dry out and then pulling them back on because I'm now freezing. And so because I'm--as my coworker says--on a never-ending quest to always be improving some aspect of my life, the research began.

I was definitely put off by the Bedjet's price point at first. The cost of the unit plus the queen sheet was fairly cringeworthy, and I continued my search. I ended up ordering one of the sub $200 swamp cooler mattress pad things first, but was having buyer's remorse before I even unpacked it from the box. After some thought (and discussion with the man I'm dating, who wishes he could snuggle me more often when we're sharing a bed, but also prefers not to end up drenched in my sweat), I pulled the trigger on the Bedjet. I figured I'd give it a try, hold onto the swamp cooler pad to try in case the Bedjet didn't work for me, and return whichever one was the loser.

Last night was my second sleep with the Bedjet, and even though there's definitely a learning curve with the settings, I'm hooked! For the record, I'm using it on a queen bed with (from the mattress up) a 3" "cooling" memory foam topper, a mattress pad, 400 TC fitted sheet, 400 TC flat sheet, the dual zone Cloud sheet, and a lightweight quilt (by Opalhouse from Target). I chose to use a normal flat sheet between my body and the Cloud sheet so as to avoid having to wash the Cloud sheet as often as I do my normal sheets, and I think this is causing me to have to use higher fan settings on the Bedjet. I don't mind this, but YMMV. I have also slept with my thermostat set to 67 degrees and a Honeywell vortex air circulator fan in my bedroom for the past couple of years.

The first night I turned the a/c in my apartment down to 67 and turned my fan on at bedtime, as usual, then cranked the Bedjet's cool setting as low as I could get it with the fan blowing like crazy, thinking that would be the magic bullet to cure my sweaty sleeps. I ended up chilly with this setup (which wasn't a huge deal because I had my partner in the bed that first night anyway). Last night I was on my own, and decided to adjust things a bit. I set the a/c to 70, turned the fan on, and started the night with the Bedjet set to cool at 74 degrees with the fan at 50%. I actually found that the air circulation provided by the Bedjet is what seems to be helping me the most, and ]thinking my temperature sweet spot may be the cool setting between 76-78 degrees, at least when I'm solo. I'm going to try adjusting my a/c up a bit tonight to 72 (it's at 72-73 during the day, and I'd LOVE to save some cash on my power bill), and see if I the Bedjet can keep me comfy at 74-76 with a 50% fan speed.

I haven't yet played with the biorhythm settings, but am looking forward to setting that up and experimenting once I figure out what settings I like for when I'm too hot or too cold. I imagine I'll also have to find my go-to settings for when I have my partner over, as I definitely sleep hotter when being cuddled.

Overall, I'm thrilled so far with my purchase, and feel fortunate I was able to snag the v3 on a lightning deal at $389. I will likely be starting to look for deals or a used unit to use when I'm at my partner's place. I would also recommend the Cloud sheet. It's oddly pricy (can an Etsy seller please start offering a more price-appropriate aftermarket version, maybe in some colors?), but I do feel like just having the fan blowing at my feet all night wouldn't be nearly as effective as having the "air blanket" resting on top of me. If it's something that you can swing financially, the investment in quality sleep may be worth the cost of this system, even if you have to put it on credit. I already feel like my quality of life has improved over just 2 nights, and will only get better once I've dialed in how to best use the settings.

Many people will say, "you paid $500 for a fan and a hose?" Actually it is more than that since it has heat, thermostat and simply a well thought out system.

As a kid, I can remember complaining to my parents that I couldn't sleep because of the heat (no a/c in our house then). My Mom told me to try sleeping under the bed since she knew it was cooler there. For an adventurous 9 year old skinny little kid this works fine but not for anyone else really. Point being is that I always knew there was cooler air available under the bed and as an adult, I always wished there was a way to utilize that cooler air in the bed. The BedJet does just that. I bet the sharks are mad they didn't get in when they had the chance. For 500 USD, this thing is pricey but it is also very good quality and I would buy it again.

I am 41 and experiencing perimenopause so I sweat at night like a hooker in church. If you have been to the Dr. regarding just this issue then you know how unhelpful they are. I was so sleep deprived and needed to do something about it. I had had people suggest getting a fan to put on my side of the bed but seriously that doesn't help anything. I found the BedJet and wow, what a change. I ended up ordering the king size with dual temperature zones because my poor husband gets cold so easily so I thought it would be best if he could control his own temperature. This item has been a lifesaver, I have actually been able to sleep and not wake up in a sweaty mess. The remote is really easy to use and set up with your own personal preferences. I also ordered the BedJet sheet and it reminds me of a nice hotel sheet. It makes the air blow around all over and just feels wonderful. Now, if BedJet could help with all the other perimenopause symptoms that would be great but at this point I'll take what I can get.

Quality construction, nice remote, easy to use. Operates as advertised, consistent temperature control, night sleeping now much better. Make sure to use the 'Biorhythm' temp control function - settings will adjust automatically through the night for a comfortable sleep. Before I used it I just set a standard temp but then in the middle of the night I sometimes would wake up to turn the temp down or up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not an air conditioner! But it is lovely.
Reviewed in Canada on August 7, 2023
Style: BedJet 3 - Any Size Bed Single Temp. ZoneVerified Purchase
I did not realize that this unit is not actually an air conditioner… Because of the cost I really thought that it had the ability to change the temperature of the air, but the lowest temperature setting will depend on the temperature in your actual space, because of this I'm a little bit disappointed. If I just wanted a fancy smart fan I probably would've just bought something cheap, I do like how it works. The very expensive duvet cover style blanket that it comes with basically is hollow like a duvet cover and you probably could save yourself $200 and actually just use a duvet cover to achieve the same thing, it is a giant Dryer hose like thing that pumps air into your blanket at the side of the bed. It's definitely bulky, and for someone who is very hot and doesn't want to be underneath a blanket at all kind of useless because it's completely reliant on pumping the air into the sheet . I am still going to give it some time before I give up on it, because it was SO expensive, but I got it for my partner who dies from being warm. If it was for me I'd have sent it back. I guess it depends what you're looking for.
Without air conditioning in your home, it really just blows air around. When we had the heat wave my house was around 80° I would put an ice pack the side the air intake on the floor of where I have the budget and it was cool the air blowing into the blanket by one or 2° but otherwise it stays pretty close to room temperature. If you do not have air-conditioning this will not make your place or space cold! I think that this was a misunderstanding on my part, that's what I was expecting. I will give it four stars because it works like it supposed to and it is a smart device with a great remote control it's quite fancy looking it's very sturdy, the hose itself and the attachment for the mattress pretty flimsy the plastic that's supposed to hold it between the mattress and the boxspring it doesn't stay together so it falls constantly but every other piece is very good quality the device itself and the remotes are very very high-quality, if this is what you're looking for than it does the job and it's great and I think it's warranty so probably worth the price in that case .
