Great retelling of the graphic novel 😊

I really enjoyed this from start to beginning - yes sometimes the background sounds could be a bit noisier than was perhaps ideal, but I didn't find it to detract from the story, it was easy to listen to and a nice quick story to work through. The narrative was executed brilliantly.

Story
Deep beneath the ocean, there is a shimmering palace. Built of coral walls and windows of clearest amber, it is the kingdom of the merpeople. And one of these mermaids you might know well: she is the youngest, and is gifted with the most beautiful voice. Unhappy with her life as a mermaid, she dreams of living on dry land. One day, on her birthday, she ascends to the surface to find a magnificent three-masted ship drifting in calm waters. There, amongst the passengers, she meets the brown-eyed prince.

Story
Melanie Hoskins, an experienced firefighter-paramedic, has been recruited by a very selective and secret organisation known as The Division. Their mission is to protect the populace and secure the continuation of the United States. The Division is only activated at times of dire need. This just so happens to be one of those times. Based in New York City, Hoskins is forced to leave her civilian life and those she loves behind, and join the front line to try to control the 'dollar flu' virus that has been spreading throughout the city.

I was completely drawn in from the start, the performance was absolutely incredible throughout. I enjoyed the games and loved this further depth into the Division universe. I'd love more like this!

Bloomin' trumpets!!
Reviewed: 22-09-20
Great story and narration. A huge shame they decided to put those stupid trumpet fanfares in again, they completely spoil the immersion. There were also some bad edits where it seemed to skip sections unfortunately. Other than that, I enjoyed the story and would recommend it.

Brilliant story and narration, let down by incredibly annoyingly, and random trumpet fanfares. Still worth the listen though.
