Couldn’t stop listening once it got off the ground. There were so many unexpected twists and every time I thought I caught up another twist! It was clever and funny and real. I was closer to tears than I have been in a book for a VERY long time.
Well done Sarah J Maas, you’ve done it again and I’ve been hooked into another series.

Wonderful book and provided a lot of insight into another culture. I loved following the family and seeing how things progressed and unravelled. There were many ‘main characters’ and somehow I was invested in them all.

Not a fostering book, but still brilliantly written
Reviewed: 26-01-22
I was expecting a book about fostering, this is the second time I’ve bought a Cathy glass book for fostering and given a story about adults. Still very well written and a compelling story. Just wish I’d known.
Well read and written though. Very interesting perspective and really demonstrated some of the reasons victims struggle to leave abusers. More people should read this.
