Humbling and inspiring in equal parts. Read it!
As an English person this was a insightful and delightful read by someone broadly unfamiliar to me.
A true woman of intelligence. Many I hope will, aspire to her level of dedication and sheer hard work and the world will be a better place.

Story
It starts almost by accident: the women who buy their knitting needles and wool from Georgia Walker's little yarn shop linger for advice, for a coffee, for a chat and before they know it, every Friday night is knitting night. And as the needles clack, and the garments grow, the conversation moves on from patterns and yarn to life, love and everything. They may be different ages, from different backgrounds and facing different problems, but they are drawn together by threads of affection that prove as durable as the sweaters they knit.

Penelope Keith - who starred as Agatha Raisin in the popular BBC Radio 4 series – reads M. C. Beaton’s eagerly-awaited murder mystery. Agatha Raisin has never been one for enforced holiday cheer, but her friendly little village of Carsely has always prided itself on its traditional Christmas festivities. However, this year Mr John Sunday has chosen Christmas as the time to crack down on what he sees as gross misconduct by everyone. But when Mr Sunday goes too far, he is soon found lying face down in the petunias, very much dead.
