I love the humanity of the characters

The story, the characters, the background stories as well as the main story line are all brilliant for the 18th time! Bring on number 19!

Bloody Brilliant!

As always, David Gatward brings Harry and the team to life, fab story line, although sad with Anna's final goodbye.
Bonus was David including 2 of JD Kirks characters from his Jack Logan books. Wonderful how these authors become friends and include each others characters.
I've read/listened to all of the Harry Grimm books, and they're all fantastic, I can't recommend these books enough. Also the narrator, Aubrey Parsons is awesome! win win!

another hit

I absolutely love these "Grimm" novels and have listened to all 18 books and enjoyed every single one and this one was no different. The storyline was fantastic as was the narrating. The only criticism I have is that they just aren't long enough. I can't wait to listen to the next book and I hope they continue on afterwards as they are so enjoyable in every way.

18 in and each as good as the last.

David Gatward has given us so many great characters, mainly from the Grimm series. Yet again this latest book leaves us wanting more. Wondering what will happen to certain characters in future books, and looking forward to ateast one brand new series. As ever the narration by the incredibly talented Aubrey Parsons brings each and every character to life. Thank you Mr Gatward.

Fantastic!

Another fantastic listen in a brilliant series! Harry has packed up his house ready to move, but that doesn't stop him being immersed in another murder investigation. Great writing and plot and the characters now feel like old friends. The finale was explosive but funny too (flour as a weapon!!!) and the ending was poignant but also had Gatward's trademark humour.

I always enjoy Aubrey Parson's terrific narration, but his voice for Logan felt flat because no one can do DCI Logan like Angus King!

Another outstanding book in this brilliant series.

I absolutely love the way David can write about such grizzly acts and yet write stories which are so uplifting. The settings, the warmth of the characters, and the delightful descriptions of the beautiful rural scenary make me want to stay lost in these books and not come out. I can't wait for the next installment.
