Went on a bit too long
Overall an okay listen, some unnecessary repetitive narrative and the storyline seemed to drag on a bit. A few twists and turns here and there but not enough to hold my breath. I’d liked to have seen the main character a bit more savvy rather than flaky. However I think it ended well!

Not sure who the victim is in this story...
A story about a woman who has been ostracised from her family for divorcing her husband, and even when she is unexpectedly widowed from her new husband she is still alone apart from her best friend (also unlikeable) Gail. When her dead husband starts appearing to contact her on dating sites, Linda becomes afraid for her safety, has he returned to confront their unfinished business?
Although the story is full of unlikeable characters, my main criticism is that the story was too long. The first 20 chapters and the last 20 chapters would have made this a much more enjoyable listen. That said I liked the originality of the story, and the unlikeable characters gave it an edgy feel, as at times I found myself muttering at how self centered the characters were but I couldn't make myself stop listening, kudos to the author for that interesting feeling.

was gripping when I got into it
liked the ending and although I struggled at first yo get into it I was soon hucked only took me a few days to complete it definitely worth a listen really enjoyed it

Liked it....I think
Being a big reader and audible....I really liked this but I don't know I got also annoyed. Some good twists...excellent and that was all good but I can't put my finger on this. I don't think for the most part I liked the main character. Without giving anything away....I just couldn't empathise with her or celebrate her?
BUT it was still a good read and not one that I would have left unfinished at all.

Better than the reviews
When I read the reviews I wasn’t sure I’d like it but thought I’d give it a go anyway and I actually really liked it. I’m not sure what the reviews were on about. Some say it’s too far fetched. Well isn’t it supposed to be unrealistic it’s a fiction book. Either way I think it’s worth a go especially as it’s free

Way to long and unbelievable
Far too long with the most ridiculous twists and turns that made it simply unbelievable. Saving grace was the performance, without that I would’ve abandoned it half way!
