Brilliant but frustrating at the same time.
Okay so this is the first Paul McKenna audio I've bought and fair play, most techniques seem to be brilliant and I'm very excited for my future. I am put off smoking, feeling motivated and confident thanks to this audio... however... Paul McKenna is incredibly annoying, made me cringe on occasions in fact. He also talks over very important parts of the audio when he just asked you to think of specific memories, so it's too difficult to think properly without pausing the audio. I do think some of the exercises are far fetched also...having to think of specific memories in the past including bad smells and bad tastes is almost impossible for me, how can someone remember a bad smell to the point they can smell it now? I think I will have to continue these exercises daily and maybe these exercises will work better.

The audio version is prob not as good as book/dvd
Audio did not work in stereo (which is supposed to help with hypnosis).
Did not include the extra audio chapters as described in the narrative eg how to avoid putting on weight.
Other than that time efficient and good. Listened to most of it at 1.5x and then normal speed for hypnosis.

I stopped smoking
I gave this book five stars given I stopped smoking and relatively easily. The night time hypnosis is really good and I would definitely recommend you listen every night. in moments of weakness I just replayed the book to remind myself how stupid the excuses are to carry on smoking and before I knew it the moment of wanting to smoke had passed. I was also listening to Alsn Carr bootcamp, so I think the combination really helped me. if you want to stop smoking, give it a go, good luck!

I think i just quit smoking forever
I don’t know what kind of sorcery is this, but I smoked a cigarette when i started the book and now I am a non-smoker, less than 2 hours later.

haven't had a cigarette in 10 weeks
I was dubious but really wanted to quit. this helped give me the boost I needed. I followed the instructions, listened every night and continue to use one chapter as a boost occassionally.

24 hours in and so far so good
I was working on the programme and was about 2/3 the way through and i kept thinking about the cigarettes I had in the kitchen, I lit one up but actually had no interest in smoking it as hard as I was trying to. I destroyed the cigarettes and continued on and 24 hours in and my lack of interest is quite unreal. As a hypnotherapist myself I know how effective it can be however I was unsure how much I really wanted to quit so was concerned I lacked commitment. I’m very happy with results so far and may they long last .
