An emotional Lewis Hamilton celebrated his victory in front of the fans
The race was hit by rain several times as well as spells of bright sunshine

Four days of motor racing, entertainment and music culminated with an emotional Lewis Hamilton winning the Formula 1 British Grand Prix for an unprecedented ninth time.

About 480,000 fans attended the event over the weekend at Silverstone.

Alongside the race there was music from the likes of Kings of Leon and Stormzy, as well as filming for Brad Pitt's F1 movie.

There were also lots of celebrities in attendance, including teenager darts sensation Luke Littler, England goalkeeper Mary Earps, and actor Michael Douglas.
