Distance to the airport. I arrived late at night so got a taxi. As it was such a short trip the driver asked if he could charge me $35. I said no just use your meter. It was $18. It’s a short walk to the airport though. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Hotel was clean and staff nice.

Fabulous location not far from the airport and on the train line ( Mascot Station). I’d choose this over one of the more obvious airport hotels as it is located in a really nice restaurant precinct and shopping area. We had a room with a balcony and telescope for plane spotting! The apartment was quite large and excellent value as I had booked quite early in my plans. We could fully relax in our lounge dining area and had separate bedroom and bathroom, complete with Kevin Murphy products .
Uber to the international airport in the early morning was very quick and convenient although we could have taken the train quite easily.
The reception staff were so lovely and helpful.

We aren't a fan of Sydney but only because we aren't city people. We prefer the country. We stayed merely as a stop over prior to international travel. Great dining options though and shopping galore. Easy to navigate around the city.

Sydney is without doubt one of the finest cities in the world. The modern downtown architecture is awe inspiring and beautiful. A walk to The Rocks is a must to savour old town Sydney. From there you can take in the magnificence of the harbour bridge and the Opera House.
Getting around is so easy and as I was staying at the Ridges Hotel, if I got weary, I could just hop on the Tap on Tap off train to Central and back to my hotel.

I have lived in Sydney for years, I love the weather, it is not as cold as Melbourne and not as hot as Queensland. The Sydney Harbour is stunning, and best seen by walking near the Opera House, over the Bridge or by Ferry up the Paramatta River. Bondi Beach is a great place to see if you have a short trip and Manly is worth a look if you have time. The Taronga Zoo has the best views of any zoo in the world. Whether you are shopping in the CBD, or picnicking in the botanic gardens, the city has a lot to offer tourists. Public transport makes it easy to get around the city, but driving, Uber or taxis will also be options. Solo travelers should take a Ferry up the Paramatta River to get amazing pictures, and if you are around for a week, take a trip to the Hunter Valley wineries.

TORONGA ZOO IS A MUST DO
the views of the city with- in the zoo are spectacular !
This hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to Circular Quay, CBD and Darling Harbor. We like the appartement having its own kitchen where we good have breakfast before going out for the day. Considering the time of year, the rate was the best compared to other Hotels in the area.
Friendly, accommodating staff, beautiful, quiet rooms with very comfortable beds. The hotel is in close proximity to transport, cafes, restaurants. The CBD is a short train ride away for access to Art Galleries, Theatres, shopping, more restaurants and Sydney Harbour.
It's your standard rooms-above-a-pub affair. We didn't know anything about the area but slim pickings for hotels on new years eve and we ended up here with no complaints. It was easy enough to get to the CBD or elsewhere.
Room was small but well appointed. Bed was very comfortable & the overall hotel is very quiet. The location is really convenient & very quiet compared to most CBD hotels.
