Breakfast was rather nice with what I'd consider a complete offer. The path leading to the nearby bus stop was very lovely and should be better advertised. Best scrambled eggs between the 5 establishments at which I stayed during my trip.

Be careful about booking at this hotel. I hadn’t realised that we had accidentally booked and paid for two rooms. The hotel staff didn’t check or care about this simply taking our money then refusing to refund us for one of the rooms. The receptionist was rude and uncaring. This location is on the NEC/Resort World campus and is ideal if you are attending a comference, exibition or activity at those locations. There is a variety of restaurants/bars on site. All the resaurants get very busy on Friday nights and over the WE and reservations are a good idea. Parking can be expensive, but discounts are avaiable for customers who shop/stay at Resort World. outlets.

Disabled travellers need to be sure they get a room with appropriate facilities. Acknowledging a request is not good enough. The exact nature of bathroom accessibility should be clear - e.g. whether space for a wheelchair for transfer to shower seat and WC; Position of grab rails and drop-down handrails.

I booked this hotel because my sister uses a wheelchair and we were visiting crufts at the NEC therefore we wanted to be as close to it as possible. when they built the hotel they had no consideration for people in wheelchairs making the journey from the hotel to the nearby beautiful lake and on around to the NEC center.

There was a large television in the room with very high definition, this displayed an impressive amount of detail in the David Attenborough documentary that I was watching. The hotel is perfectly located for accessing Birmingham airport as it is directly opposite the airport. The staff were very friendly too.
