Breakfast was excellent, the older lady serving was superb .
Location was perfect for us too. The path to walk up snowdon and the train station was just across the road from the hotel.

Lovely space for a trip to Snowdon. Facilities excellent. Everyone slept well. Very quiet. Hens and sheep in adjacent fields. Met all our needs and we all said that we would return to stay here if we came back to the area

Amy and James were lovely. Amy made us feel right at home. They do not serve dinner, but Amy recommended some restaurants nearby as well as various takeaway options. We opted for a chinese takeaway, which we bought back to eat at the hotel. It is the first time we have stayed in a hotel and been actively encouraged to use a communal area. We played cards in the lounge, and Amy checked in on us intermittently to see if we would like a drinks top up. It was a very friendly hotel and felt very homely, we are just disappointed we weren't staying for longer!

Brilliant location for hiking up Snowdon. Clean and compact room. I was a bit worried about the contactless check in but everything went smoothly. Other reviews mentioned noise from the pub/restaurant downstairs but I didn’t notice it; had two very peaceful nights (even though I stayed the night of the Euros final!)

The scenery is lovely and there are some great attractions: Snowdon Mountain Railway (book in advance), National Slate Museum (free) and Llanberis Lake Railway. However, this is a small village; we struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Monday and Tuesday evening in June and there were few vegetarian options. If we were returning to the area, we would perhaps stay in nearby Conwy or Carnaefen, which are larger with more going on, and do day trips to Llanberis.

Lovely little village and perfect vacation for anyone...
Lovely little village and perfect vacation for anyone wanting to visit Snowdon. You can walk stringent up it or get a bus to Pen-y-Pass and go up via the routes there. Plenty of restaurant, cafes and bars to keep you entertained - our favourite was Becws Melyn which served gorgeous food and delicious drinks!

In my opinion, Llanberis is an amazing place to stay.
In my opinion, Llanberis is an amazing place to stay. The town has all you can need without being a snobby destination.
It's the perfect gateway for walking snowdon or taking the tram to the top.
I'm afraid I can't comment on local restaurants as I've only ever used the chip shop, but that is superb so I would assume other places are just as good.
Would make an amazing stop off for those wanting to explore more of the beautiful national park.

If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you.
If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you. Stunning and we particularly liked the walks around the Llanberis lake and up to the waterfall. There are some shops in the village but it is not that well equipped for proper food shopping. However, we arranged a food delivery from Asda which arrived promptly.

Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train...
Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train up Snowdon, our main reason to stay here. Many other more difficult walking options are a short car or bus journey away, be warned the popular car parks fill up very early in the day and some like Pen-Y-Pas must be prebooked and are very expensive. A few miles further away there are an almost infinite list of other walking routes that will be much less crowded. Be warned that none of the routes up Snowdon are easy, you should be fit and prepared for cold wet and foggy weather, any time of the year. Llanberis has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restauraunts although when we stayed in late March many were closed, I guess the season starts after Easter.

Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to...
Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to Llanberis path to Snowdon. We were also able to walk to the Slate Museum & Dolbadarn Castle. If you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon, the station is located in a visible easy to reach location, with a car park about 1 minute walk away. Also, just off the high street we found a beautiful waterfall named Rhaeadr.
Room very clean and perfectly functional. Location was perfect for snowdon climb. Located near the Llanberis path or a 15 min bus journey to the start pyg/miners track. Bus stop only 2 minute walk from hotel. No issues parking on street although there was free hotel parking available but we didnt use it.
breakfast was nice choice of continental or full English , room was a little bit tired but comfortable , the views from the room onto Snowdonia were fab , location was perfect for us as we intended to walk Llanberis trail and explore Llanberis and the surrounding area
Lovely hotel. We got the corner room with the view of Snowdon . Short walk from the llanberis path of Snowdon and local amenities. Heaters in room . Lovely facilities . Everything you needed . Bed was comfy.
