This was by far the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in it was unhygienic and filthy with no air conditioning and stains on the wall and floor it was disgusting and not fit for a dog. The staff were brusque and unhelpful.

Booked here as i needed central to stay for a gig. And I was in for a treat. The whole place is classy, clean and I had a bargain. The staff, waiting area, bar area, location were all on point. The room was as everything you needed. Shower only room I had and a view of the other side of another building butt that didn’t matter.

We had a great evening at the Christian Conference at the Pendulum Hotel, However the World of Manchester was completely contrasting to what we experienced earlier in the evening. We took a quick Trip to McDonalds before deciding to drive home as there's no place like home-Right? 🙂 Ive heard from 2 Friends who said Manacunians 'dont like big cars', well suffice to say when we departed from the motorway up North we were met rudely with lads swearing at us+ then later following us AND one of their Mates cars overtook us, parked- but we could get out + 'danced in a swaying fashion' in FRONT of my car. We werent having any of it+ had no choice but to call Police. Went to Mum's nearby-she was woken in the night- bless her! +Police told the Lads to go then was all Dealt with. We were NOT impressed with the way the Police didnt question the lads+ find out in depth what they were trying to do. Yet they protected US, which was satisfactory. I dont think this has any relation to Manchester but certainly puts some 'idea' of a travelling back from the City poor.

The rooms are clean and bed was comfortable, nice size bathroom towels. Check cups in bedroom before using ours not clean. Breakfast was shocking, no hot food available, advised still in the oven cooking, no orange juice, very little fresh fruit.

Manchester is of no significance - Oldham is really Lancashire in spirit. Local Government should be re-organised and the stupid county of Greater Manchester abolished and the local towns returned to Lancashire. Sincerely Charles Shaw

Plenty of good shops abd interesting cafes and restaurants. Wonderful free bus that took us round the city. Wasn't so keen on the.mishmash of buildings...there seemed to have been no specific building planning for the city. A high-rise block right behind a perfectly preserved row of 19th century buildings which sticks out like a sore thumb...

This hotel gets a really bad rep when really it is wonderful. I’ve never had any issues with this place. The staff are always wonderful. They’ll chat to you all day and check you in nice and quick. Location perfect. Right bang in Manchester City centre. I had booked for a gig in the city and needed somewhere central to Piccadilly for when I went to wales the day after. Room had no faults whatsoever. The windowless room had air con and tea and coffee in ect. Just basic things that you’ll need. Great because I was out for most of it.

This is a stunning hotel from the moment you walk through the door. The decor and attention to detail have been excelled and you can tell everything is bespoke. Every little detail has been thought out even down to a glass of champagne while check in is arranged. Its a beautiful space for any interior lover and the furniture and spaces are stunning. The staff here are probably the best I’ve had in any city centre hotel. If you get the chance to stay it’s a must do in Manchester.
