This was a late booking for the same night. We arrived at 9pm. Room in a lodge was very comfortable with all the amenities one would expect. Breakfast had a good choice for continental. I upgraded to full English and it was ok. Lovely dining area to eat in. Family run and very well run establishment. Liked it a lot.

Really nice stay for 2 nights combining a work trip with a trip to Alton Towers Waterpark. The carriage is great with amazing views. Very comfortable bed and a decent shower room. As somebody that likes trains it was really good fun to stay here.
